Well, to be honest the 'Elite' armors are just for people who like to waste 100k in 1 go. You only really need max armor from Kaineng, but if you like the look of the Luxon armor, grab it. Then again, if you like the look of the Elite, and have 100k to spend, go for it.

Whichever you like the look of better. That's the only difference between them - appearance.

There is also the Hall of Monuments consideration if that matters to you. It may or may not.

Its entirely up to you based on which one you prefer.
I never quite understand why people need to ask which armor to buy, let alone make a thread about it :x |

Normal Luxon Armor:
Pros: Cheaper, has same stats as elites. Cons: Doesn't look as good. Elite Luxon Armor: Pros: Looks pretty good. Cons: Very expensive, only superior visually. So basically get normal if you care about functionality, elite if you want best appearance. Bear in mind also that the kurzick equivalents (in my humble opinion) look a lot better than their luxon counterparts in most cases, although due to their greater popularity Amber is more expensive than Jade. |

Depends on what you want - check the picks on wiki - see what they look like.
For my sin I prefer the normal luxon (the elite just doesn't seem that different and has less area that dyes) So be sure to check the looks of both versions for your prof and go with whatever you think looks best because the only difference is the look and the price. |

Whichever looks better to you; after all, you're the one who's going to be wearing it.
The devs create an armor set, then they gussy it up to make the elite version. IMO, the fancier models are rarely an improvement over the basic models, at least to the extent of justifying the extra cost. Obvious exceptions, of course, and the Lux male W is one such - the 15K is much more attractive than the 1K (if you like that look to begin with), at least to my taste. |

Also, if I were you, I'd only get elite armor if you really can afford it. I mean, if I only had enough money that I had to choose between elite armor and having enough money to buy skills, I'd buy skills.
Only buy elite armor if you have the money to blow on it. |

as someone suggested, check wiki for ALL Sin armor types.
you may find that you like kurzick better for example (or a set from another campaign)...so you may want to continue saving your mats and gold for the most awesome looking armor. and yes pimping armor is worth no matter what ppl say. you look at your toon the whole time you're playing the game, and if you have gimpy plain clothes you'll always be wanting to upgrade them...so just do it. |
